Introducing Historic house, "Cape Dutch". One of only five homes built in the 1920’s in one of Coral Gables uniquely themed villages. The Dutch South African Village is a unique assemblage of homes designed by the well-known Palm Beach architect Marion Sims Wyeth and built by Coral Gables developer George Merrick. This unique village drew inspiration from the Dutch farmhouses of those wealthy planters of Cape Town. Fewer than 80 of the 1,000 planned residences of Merrick's villages were built. This traditional Cape Dutch designed home is an incredible piece of history.
